Spooky Moon, namely David and Sharon Light, late of Toronto, currently in Windsor are busy getting their new material together in preparation for the upcoming year.Singer-songwriter veterans of the Toronto area folk circuit who have opened for such acts as Tanglefoot, Haines and Leighton, and Paul Langille, Sharon and David have been immersing themselves in a variety of new musical influences most especially rootsy Americana (hey - it's just across the river!) and are looking forward to sharing their music with a wider audience.As members of the Windsor Folk and Art Society they have taken the reigns as periodic hosts at their monthly open Mics. They have also established a new Song Circle (The Lug A Mug Song Circle)for the Windsor area which has taken off with a bang and is continuing to attract new participants.Their recorded music has been featured on Fresh Air, Back to the Sugar Camp, Richardson's Round-up and CBC Toronto.
