Originally from B.C., now living in London, this gifted songwriter and performer is finding new musical inspiration at every turn. Brenda spent most of the 90’s as a member of the popular acoustic/rock band Julia Propeller, releasing two acclaimed albums and performing to crowds of thousands, while playing festivals with acts like Bruce Cockburn, Ani Difranco, Great Big Sea and Blue Rodeo. Brenda has recently made an exciting return to livemusic, treating audiences to her “soaring and distinct”vocals both as a solo performer and as front woman for the jazzy pop sensations The Hoohaa Revivalists (www.geocities.com/hoohaarevivalists/).
